Scanning

Master the art of quickly finding specific information in texts 🔍

🔍 What is Scanning?

Scanning means searching quickly for information.
When you scan, you look for specific information, such as a name or date, without reading an entire text. Scanning is different from skimming because it requires the reader to find a piece of information, not the main idea. We scan things all the time, such as contacts in a phone, a date, or quote from an article.
